But I love myself for always finding a way back to the weights, no matter how much I weigh. I hate myself for letting myself fall so far. As shitty as I felt before the gym, I do honestly believe that physically being in the gym, having a good workout, and breaking a sweat makes me feel 1000x more confident and unbothered in comparison to anything else.Įven if my workout hasn’t made me lose 30 lbs in one setting, or make me look slimmer right away, I feel like lifting is the only thing that truly distracts me from all other worries. I do want to note one thing: It was worth it. I meant to update this blog as soon as I was finished working out but I was so beat. I’ve lost a little bloat around my tummy too, thank goodness. I’m so happy I’m finally shrinking again. Also saw some babygainz in my arms and quads *cries* I’ve definitely shrunk a little bit, so I’m really happy. Had a pretty bomb shoulder workout tonight and at the gym I actually noticed some small changes. Tonight, I’m going to construct my workout plan for the rest of the week.įor the first time in a while, I’m feeling pretty good. Same goes for a lot of my t-shirts and otherwise. I received a gray sports tank top for my birthday last year and when I had put it on for the first time in a while a few weeks ago, it went from a loose fit to a very snug like a glove fit… I felt uncomfortable wearing it. While some of my older clothes are still a bit tighter than before, I’ve noticed that a lot of my clothes are starting to fit better again. I’ve only been exercising for about 3 weeks now and changing a few of my food/drinking habits and I’ve already noticed a difference. After my routine has been redeveloped, getting my ass back in the gym doesn’t feel so hard anymore (lol). Personally, a rule of thumb that has worked for me has been working out consistently for a 2 week period. It’s been kind of rough trying to manage all of that with all these renovations going around my house for the past couple of weeks (first no bathroom, then no kitchen, working stove, or sinks downstairs to prep or cook food). Workout for minimum of 4-5 hours per week HIIT 2-3x a week, maybe some cardio splits as well throughout the week Here are a few changes I wanted to incorporate into my routine: It’s still a bit hard to get back into a steady rhythm/consistent workout schedule with all the summer activities going on but I’m determined to get back into some kind of consistency within the week since my annual birthday trip to Vegas is next month. Had to take a week long break for a week full of a friend’s birthday activities. Today is the first day in exactly a week since I’ve worked out last. Split into 10 rounds of 10 jumping jacks x 10 pushups, no rest until completion Here are my fitness-related posts, workouts, etc.
